The kitchen is one of the most used areas of the house, therefore, before planning the kitchen we must think carefully about the design of this space.

The technological means inherent in the kitchen are as important as its appearance and sometimes even more so, because the internal components are responsible for the operational pleasure of its users and are the ones that will extend the life of the kitchen. Choosing the design theme is a strict and even complex process, each person has different feelings, preferences and dreams that need to be integrated together for the perfect and best result. The kitchens go out to the center of the house and sometimes even take the place of the living room in the home atmosphere.

Dining tables, sitting and decorative corners, a combination of carpets and the like, gives the household a warm feeling and a desire to stay in the kitchen even after the meal is over. Also, the dizzying pace of life that characterizes the era in which we live and the technological progress that continues to develop year by year, raises the need to return to the past and to a living environment that gives an enveloping feeling of warmth. This trend, in recent years, has begun to permeate the world of design and will continue to gain momentum this year as well.

Types of kitchen design

It should be noted that today the sky is the limit and there are countless many and varied types of kitchens: glass kitchens, Provence kitchens, country kitchens, solid wood kitchens, classic kitchens in earth colors and shades of khaki, beige and stone colors in a combination of black and white as complementary and harmonious colors that go with this trend and are Just a small part of a huge variety of models and designs. It is important to note that in any woodwork one of the most important things is the type of wood that is used because the wood creates a feeling of warmth and homeliness.

There are several types that can be used to design the kitchen:

• Solid wood – is natural wood, not glued, shredded or ground, and everything filled with wood is solid wood. In Israel, different types of trees are used such as pine, beech, oak, cherry and more.
  Wooden components or pallets made of wood – the most common pallets for building kitchens,
• MDF cabinets, etc. made of sandwich, fiberboard or
  Sandwich – a board made of layers of wood glued together, the direction of the fibers in each layer is perpendicular to the layer before and after it.
• Chipboard – panels made of wood sawdust mixed with glue, which is cured under pressure and heat.
  A mixture of compressed wood dust, which is glued with additional materials and adhesives. MDF

In recent years, there is a notable trend in which the field of kitchen design and equipment undergoes significant design and functional changes influenced by the prevailing trend to integrate the kitchen as an integral part of the living space. Although this change is a refreshing change in the field of dividing the spaces of the house, it created design and planning dilemmas.

Therefore, the new kitchens should intelligently utilize the given space area and be smart, parquet and functional, provide a wide variety of work and storage solutions, while creating a homey, warm and pleasant feeling of a home space that is not too large in harmony with the small spaces.
